Grease - Frankie Valli

Grease is the word/It’s got groove, it’s got meaning/Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion/Grease is the way we are feeling

my favorite song in the entire movie(aside Grease lightening); ♥

Tuesday-Wednesday

Tuesday night:

  • Fantastic Mr. Fox premiere!
  • 80’s vampire movie fest: The Lost Boys and The Hunger
  • Fort building
  • Music-sharing

Wednesday:

  • Really early morning breakfast (like when it’s still dark because that’s the best) at The Frontier- breakfast burritos so spicy they can burn your insides and fresh squeezed orange juice.
  • Walk down to Nob Hill and spend the day there, complaining about how expensive Urban Outfitters is and how broke we are.
  • Go into Buffalo Exchange and complain some more but not as much.
  • Search through all the indie shops for killer boy’s t-shirts (because guys get way too cool shirts. Girls get shirts that say “I love my boyfriend” and “Nacho Girlfriend”. Guys get shirts that have killer graphics and super soft fabric.)
  • Rape and pillage the music shops for Florence + the Machine, Those Dancing Days, Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stoneage, Band of Skulls, Scout Niblett, and Bauhaus cd’s.
  • Look for a Pulp Fiction poster.
  • Go back to the Frontier for another breakfast burrito.
  • Look at lighters.
  • Sit at the University and gawk at boys.
  • Try and make it to 7th, although we know we’ll only get as far as 1st (if we go that far).

Last time I was in Nob Hill, I bought a $5 men’s t-shirt at Urban Outfitters, met some baked dudes at Buffalo Exchange, counted 4 ambulances and 2 firetrucks, saw the keyboardist from that screamo emo band we saw that one time, gave money (66 cents) to a scary hobo who was blind in one eye and had scary yellow-brown long nails, walked through the underpass that changes colors, went into the movie theaters and met a shady guy who showed us card tricks, got to see Joelle’s mom’s Obey tattoo, met Joelle’s mom’s posh artsy experienced boyfriend (the kind of guy that wears blazers, has long hair, talks about countercultures, has been to a show where they paint with chocolate syrup in front of you, has an eco-friendly hybrid that blasts contemporary jazz music). Then I went home and ate Indian food.
